I know you all care for environment. BUT Have you counted your PLASTIC FOOTPRINT?. Just have a look at below statistics and my assumption of typical Indian plastic use.
1 Toothbrush 1per 3 months
2 Milk bag 2 nos/day
3 Bread Bag 1 per day.
4 Grossary bags 30 per month
5 vegetable bags 1 per day.
6 chocolate /toffee wrappers 30 per month.
7 water bottles 30 per month.
8 disposable cup 15 per month
9 Pens 1 per two months.
10 Medicine , shampoo, hair oil , moisturizer, toothpaste, creams bottles 1 per month
11 wrappers of all merchandise purchased 15 per month .
12 hotel parcels container.
Please note these are regularly used household items,many household plastic items which disposed in a year are not counted in the list.
I hope our future generations should not blame us if we all shall take one step to make less plastic environment now.
